I pulled out Riley's horse she got on Christmas. She finally can sit on it and even get it to move up and down.

I happened to hear Riley one day sitting at the screen door talking and talking and talking. So I went and got the camera and sat behind her without her knowing it and got it all on video. So cute !!

Zoo Trip 11 months

Friday April 30,2010 My parents Riley's Nana & Papa Hartig bought us a zoo membership! Well we used it the second it came in the mail. Nana, me and Riley went to zoo. We spend 3 1/2 hours walking and looking at all the animals. Riley loves the zoo and loves to see all the different animals they have. She did fall asleep for an hour just long enough for Nana and me to eat lunch so it worked out. She woke up and we headed back out into the zoo to see more!! We took Riley on the train they have there and she seemed to enjoy it. That is the picture of the 3 of us on the train before it started moving.

Riley now takes 1 bottle only in the morning and its 6 oz of formula. She eats 2 regular meals, lunch and dinner and 2 snack a day which are fruit bars, gram crackers and fruit. She is sleeping 2-3 naps a day at 1 1/2 hours each. She goes down at night at 9pm and wakes around 7:30-8am. She is talking up a storm, walking and getting into everything!! She defiantly loves to explore and see what is in every corner. She loves to play with us or even by herself :)

Also, Riley cut 2 new teeth the last week. One is next to her other 2 bottom front teeth and the other one is her 2nd front tooth! As of now she has 5 teeth :) She is starting to cut 2 other top teeth, soon enough she will have 7 teeth!

More 11 month photos

I took the kids outside the other week b/c it was so nice out and got some pictures of them. Plus the tree in our backyard was in full bloom and I wanted some pics of Riley by it. Riley loves walking around the house holding her minnie mouse stuffed animal. As I was feeding Riley the other day I thought to myself that I hadn't gotten any pics of her eating like a big girl. She feeds herself at every meal with her hands and she is very messy but that's okay!

11 months old

April 15, 2010 Riley turned 11 months old! Crazy that in one month she will be 1 years old already. She has learned so much in the last couple of months. She now walks everywhere. She loves to be chased around the house. She giggles all the time and makes us laugh. She loves to play with everything including toys or non toys. It's fun to watch her play when she doesn't think anyone is watching her. I try to get stuff on video but the minute I start recording all she wants to do is play with the camera. She loves to play outside and even loves to stand at our screen door and look outside. She says "Hi" now and also dad, daddy or dada. Sometimes she will even say "Hi dada" its so cute! Now I just need her to say mom :) Everyday I say I"I love you Riley" and the other day she said it back to me! That was crazy to hear. She said it for two days straight to me and now I cant get her to say it. Hopefully she will start to say it again soon. I did get it on video but its really hard to hear b/c when she says it its not like how us adults say it. She tries put the words together but they kind of come out a little different. Hard to explain

Riley is now on 2 bottles a day. 1 in the morning and 1 at night. Next week I am going to start giving her just 1 bottle a day. We had a preview of what it would be like without any bottles and she did just fine. I forgot to get more formula so we went one day without any nighttime or morning bottles and she didn't even notice. She no longer eats jar food either. She is eating stage toddler foods which is pretty much what we eat. We buy her the toddler food b/c its already packaged to how much they need to eat and well it's just easier right now. She also gets snacks which have been fruit bars cut up. She drinks out of a bigger sippy cup now too.

She is going down at night around 9ish and sleeping until 7:30-8 everyday. She gets 3 naps a day which are anywhere from 2 hours to 1 hour each.
