Grabbing her feet

August 29,2009 Riley this week has really been trying to grab her feet. I got a picture of her doing it! I have been trying to snap a pic for a couple of days now but every time I tried she would let go. She can only hold then for a short time then lets go. She is trying to stick them in her mouth but she cant reach them up that far. Adam and I help her out and grab her feet and bring them up to her mouth so she can suck on them. It's very cute!!

August 27, 2009 The day started out with Riley playing in her exersaucer and then the next thing I knew she had fallen asleep in it! So I had to take a picture of her and then I got it on video. She most likely was so tired because she didn't go to bed until 1am that morning and was back up at 7:30. After she had been sleeping through the night for 3 weeks she has decided that she needs to get up at 5am every morning to have a bottle. Thankfully I do get her back to sleep right after the bottle but I could do without the wake up at 5am. Cant wait until she officially sleeps through the night for good.

Today I decided that since it was so hot out to take her to the pool. She loves the pool! She was kicking her feet in the water and having a great time.

14 weeks old ( 3 months old)

August 21, 2009 Riley turned 14 weeks old! she is really moving around now. She has started to grab at her feet and she is talking all the time.

Family Visit

August 23,2009 Riley has had a very busy couple of days. Adam's relatives came into town to see Riley. This was the first time for Riley to meet them. We had dinner with them on Wednesday night at our house and then again on Sunday night at Spaghetti warehouse before they had to fly out on Monday morning.

Mexican Fiesta night @ Sara's

August 17, 2009 Riley got to attend her very first Mexican Fiesta! Sara was i n town and invited all of us girls over for some cocktails & Mexican food! I brought Riley along so that she could meet baby Carson who was only 2 weeks old! Carson is Sara's nephew and he is very cute and looks just like his daddy.

13 weeks old( 3 months old)

August 14, 2009 Riley turned 13 weeks old. She is doing very well holding her head up. She loves the exersaucer! She hits the toys on it and sometimes even jumps in it! We put her in her OSU hat to see how it fits. As you can tell it is still too big. Hopefully it will fit sometime soon. Riley has begun to play with her feet. She is trying to grab them with her hands. Soon enough she will be able to put her feet in her mouth. She is talking and smiling a lot more now. Everyday she like to talk to me and tell me how her day is going. Cant wait until she can actually speak words.

Riley at the pool for the second time

August 15, 2009 Adam and I took Riley to the pool today. It was her second time and this time around she loved it! I'm thinking that she liked it because the water was much warmer then it was the very first time I took her.
