19 weeks old (4 months old)

September 25, 2009 Riley turned 19 weeks old. Pretty much she is doing everything the same. she is talking a lot, enjoying tummy time more and more each day. I saw he roll over once and she hasn't done it again. So we are going to be working on that. She is doing very well with her rice cereal. She is keeping most of it in her mouth! She is still sleeping through the night which is great. No teeth yet just a lot of slobber. She really likes to be standing up. She has been trying to push her body upwards when she is sitting or laying. She also has been trying to sit all by herself. Soon enough she will have that down.

Talking having fun on her changing table

September 18, 2009 I had just finished changing Riley and she was making all kinds of noises and talking( baby talk!) So I decided to get a video of her all excited. She loves being on her changing table for some reason.

Riley eating cereal for the 2nd time

September 13, 2009 We took a video of Riley eating her 2nd bowl of rice cereal. We didn't get a video of her trying the cereal for the first time so we deiced to get a video of her eating it for the second time. She really seems to like it. She likes to grab at the spoon and the bowl. This video is very long we just couldn't stop taping her while to eat.

In exersaucer asleep

August 27, 2009 Riley had fallen asleep in her exersaucer. I always put her in it in the morning after her bottle. She usually plays for a little while. Well one day I put her in it and went to the computer to check my emails. She was making her usual noises and then it got really quiet. So I went to go and look to make sure she was okay and I found her fast asleep . It was just so cute.

Sleeping

August 25, 2009 Riley was sleeping in our bed and was snoring! I just had to get a video of it. She always looks so peaceful sleeping in our bed

17 weeks more pictures (4 months old)

Riley has had a very full week. Saturday September 12th was her 2nd OSU game. Riley got all dressed in her red outfit and she was ready to watch the game. Riley got fed her very first rice cereal that day too. She was a little confused about it. She grabbed the spoon out of my hand and tried to feed herself!

I took Riley to the pool this week too. She was kicking her legs the whole time we were in the pool. I wish I had it on video but I was the only one with her and actually we were the only ones at the pool. which was very nice. We gave her cereal again later on in the week and this time she liked it. She kept reaching for the bowl and spoon. She even opened her mouth for more. We did get this feeding on video and it is pretty funny.

4 month doctors Appointment & 17 weeks old

September 11, 2009 Riley turned 17 weeks old today. Yesterday we went to the doctor for her 4 month check-up and shots. The doctor said we can now feed her a little bit of rice cereal everyday. Once she gets use to it and can keep the food in her mouth then we can move on to jar foods. Riley has been watching us eat our dinners and seems very interested in the food we eat. Also she pushes her tongue out when you put anything to her lips. These are signs of when babies are ready for cereal. Riley's weight is 15 pounds 1 oz which is 75% percentile. Her height is 25 1/2 inches which is 90% percentile and the circumference of her head is 16 1/2 inches which is 75% percentile. Everything went well and the next time we go into the doctor is for her 6 month check-up and shots. Also, I had posted before about Riley getting her first tooth, well that was wrong! The doctor took a look and said that it was a calcium deposit on her gums and it would just go away. I never knew anything about this. Oh well, soon enough she will have a whole mouth full of pretty white teeth

Riley's First OSU game

September 5, 2009 Was the very first OSU game of the season and it was Riley's first game ever! We got her all dressed in her OSU oneies and then gave her the pom pom. She loved swinging it in her hand. I didn't get a picture of this but she did watch some of the game in her exersaucer.

4 months old

September 4, 2009 Riley turned 4 months old. Last week I noticed that Riley had a tooth coming in on the top left of her mouth. It is very tiny and hard. She has been drooling like crazy for the last couple of months. Now she is chewing on the other side of her mouth. Any day now she is going to pop another tooth through. She is cooing, smiling and playing all the time. She is really loving her feet.

This Thursday we go to the doctor for her 4 month check-up and shots.

15 weeks old (3 months old)

August 28, 2009 Riley turned 15 weeks old. She has been having a lot more tummy time. She is starting not to hate it so much. We are trying to get her to roll over but we haven't succeed yet. She is defiantly making a lot more noise now. She is cooing a lot, smiling and interacting more and more everyday. When we lay her down on her back she likes to raise her head up like she is trying to sit up all by herself.
